About Sam

Samuel “Sammy” Ditmars is an American illustrator, born in Austin, Texas and currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. Their body of work is primarily rooted in environmental storytelling and conceptual world building. They enrolled in the Savannah College or Art and Design in 2016 to study Illustration with a concentration in Conceptual Illustration and graduated in the spring in 2020.

Since graduating, Sammy has focused on enviormental paintings and prop development as a background artist for TV and Film, and is currently working on Floyd County Productions TV show, “Archer”. When not painting or playing video games, Sammy can be found wandering the wilderness of north Georgia hunting for cool rocks and fun critters to befriend.
